“Born and raised in Enfield, NC, as the only child of Paul and Bertha Hedgepeth, she embodies the values of hard work, education, and faith. Her achievements reflect her parents’ influence, as she balances professional goals with her commitment to God, family, and community. Guided by her faith since her early days at Pine Chapel Baptist Church, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from North Carolina Central University and holds certifications in Microsoft Office, Marketing, Technical Services, Graphics Production, Publishing Coordination, and Budget Management.”

She served in an array of ministries at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Apex, NC. Additionally, at her new church home, Jordan Hill Missionary Baptist Church, October 20210. She serves in an array of positions, including a Sunday School Teacher, Social Media Liaison, Technology, Card, Missionary, Usher Ministries to name a few. She also participates in outreach initiatives, reflecting her nurturing spirit and dedication. Her commitment to helping others is second to none.

Her numerous gifts include helping, encouraging, and supporting others, exemplified by her ‘Encouragement Card Ministry,’ which spreads hope through uplifting messages in Jesus’ name. She shares a 46-year journey with her high school sweetheart, Pastor Rev. Rickie R. Bell, and they have a loving family with two adults, a daughter-in-law, and two grandchildren. Their mutual dedication to God reflects their commitment to serving others. Together, they uplift God, family, church, and community, inspired by her favorite Bible verses, Proverbs, 3:5-6, as they create a legacy of hope, faith, and love.”
