Reverend Rickie Bell was born and raised in Enfield, NC.  He is the son of the late Deacon Lonnie and Lucille Day Bell and he is one of five siblings.

He is a graduate of the former Eastman High School in Halifax County and served in the 82nd Airborne Division, Ft. Bragg.  He holds associate degrees in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, and Electronic Engineering Technology, and a diploma in Industrial Electric Motors and Controls from Durham Technical Community College.  He is a graduate of the Apex School of Theology in Durham, N.C.

Rev. Bell was licensed into the preaching ministry on June 10, 2006, and ordained February 15, 2009, at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church.  Bell served as an associate minister at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, Apex, under the leadership of the late Rev. Dr. Marcus V. Ingram, Sr.

Rev. Bell is married to the former Eugenia Hedgepeth of Hollister, North Carolina. They are parents to two children, Tameka and Paul; daughter-in-law Ashley, and grandparents to DaVante and Paxton.
