Rev. Willie A. Boyd, Jr. is a retired army combat veteran with over 33 years of active duty and reserves. Rev. Boyd was ordained as a Deacon in June 2007 at Jordan Hill; preached his initial sermon in June 2008 and ordained in June 2010 at Manson Baptist Church. Rev. Boyd has served as Sunday School and Bible Study teacher and he currently assists at the Durham Veteran Chapel. He is married to the former Wanda Rainey and they have three children and five grandchildren.
